According to the Philadelphia Inquirer's Michael Klein, Georges Perrier is closing his French dining palace, Le Bec-Fin.
The Walnut Street building is on the market for $3.9 million. Perrier is selling the business and liquor license for $600,000.
The famed restaurant, known for its elaborate dessert trolley, bows out next spring. Maybe not so surprising, considering Perrier lamented about the end of fine dining to Philadelphia magazine back in December.
